Dr. Milad Gendi
Owner/VeterinarianDr. Gendi graduated in 2005. He and his family moved to Maryland in 2010 and he joined Severn River Animal Hospital in 2019.
Dr. Gendi treats all four-legged family members as if they were his own. His compassion underscores why he is part of the healing community. As a Fear Free Certified veterinarian, he seeks to reduce stress, anxiety, and fear in your pets and is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care. Because the hospital is fully equipped with the latest medical technology, he is ready to meet the entire spectrum of your pets’ needs including preventative care, pain management, dentistry and surgeries.
He is committed to the highest standards of veterinary medicine and is a member of thefollowing organizations:

When he is not at the clinic providing compassionate care for animals, Dr. Gendi is enjoying the gift of his beautiful family – his wife, Mary, and their children, Jeremiah and Gianna.

Dr. Lee Lianides
DVMDr. Lianides is a graduate of Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in Massachusetts. She moved to Maryland in 2000 and provided relief veterinary services as the president of Maritime Veterinary Associates. She is the past owner of Severn River Animal Hospital and is proud to have led her team to achieve accreditation from AAHA for the hospital in 2014.
Dr. Lianides’ areas of special interest beyond general medicine include dentistry, pain management both acute and chronic, and dermatology. She especially enjoys the “senior” pets and keeping them healthy and happy as they age. She takes pride in finding the diagnosis and formulating the treatment plan that includes the owner as part of the decision making process. When the situation calls for more advanced procedures she will refer the patients to the appropriate specialist. She believes in treating each patient individually and following a comprehensive lifetime plan. She studies each patient and offers very high standards of care.
Outside interests include boating, sailing (blue water whenever possible!), travel, and relaxing with friends or a good book. You can see her jogging the streets of Annapolis with her rescued German Shorthaired Pointers.
Doctor Lianides regularly attends continuing education conferences. She is past president and member of the Ann Arundel Veterinary Medical Association, member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Maryland Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Animal Hospital Association.

Brittney
Veterinary AssistantBrittney is one of Severn River Animal Hospital’s Veterinary Assistants and has been in the veterinary field for 4 years. She is currently working on her Technician License and is also Fear Free Certified. Her favorite dog breed is a pug and she has a cute pug at home named Breadloaf. When she is not working, Brittney enjoys traveling and spending time with her Mom.

Melissa
Veterinary TechnicianMelissa has been in the animal field for over 5 years. Currently she is enrolled in Ashworth College Veterinary Technician program. Her interests include hiking, camping, fishing and anything that involves outdoor activities. She also enjoys riding her two quarter horses, Ace and Hallie. Melissa lives in Glen Burnie with her boyfriend and rescued Australian Cattle Dog, Ellie, and Bassett Hound named Hank.

Mary
Office ManagerNew to the veterinary profession, Mary is the wife of Dr. Gendi and works alongside him as the office manager of the practice. Mary has been a human medicine pharmacist since 2006 and plans to become certified as a veterinary pharmacist in the near future.
When she is not here or at her part-time pharmacy job, Mary can be found spending time with her and Dr. Gendi’s two children, Jeramiah and Gianna.

Lisa
ReceptionistLisa Conley is Severn River Animal Hospital’s newest team member. She may be new to the animal care profession; however, she has enjoyed her own fur babies her whole life. Currently her family’s pack includes a dog named Cash, 2 cats named Bailey & Priscilla, 2 ferrets named Looney & Rascal and one rabbit. When she is not working, she loves spending time with her husband and two teenage children. When she is not spending time with her family, you may find Lisa enjoying quiet time on her back porch reading a good suspense novel or perhaps one of the novels from the After romance series. She is enjoying learning the animal care profession from the Severn River Animal Hospital team and is looking forward to one day becoming a Vet Tech.

Beth
ReceptionistBeth has been in the animal care profession since 2001. She currently lives in Glen Burnie with her husband. She has a dog named Lucy and a cat named Nala. Beth has seven grandchildren that she loves to spoil, and travels often to see her family.

Hannah
Veterinary AssistantHannah is one of Severn River Animal Hospital’s Veterinary Assistants. She is currently attending Anne Arundel Community College and is majoring in biology. She is currently enrolled in AACC’s Veterinary Assistant program. Hannah enjoys working with all the pets at SRAH but is especially fond of cats. Her favorite cat breed is tabby and has one at home named Oliver. When she is not in school or working, she enjoys going to the beach with friends.
